Services Not Covered by Manitoba (MB) Health

A fee will be charged for the following services:

  • Return to or Absence From Work/School Sick Notes (MMA Fee Guide)

  • Administration of Immunizations Not Covered by MB Health

  • Complete Exam for Uninsured Services

  • Driver’s License Medicals (MMA Fee Guide)

  • Disability Tax Credit Form

  • Personal Care Home Form Completion

  • Disability Insurance Forms

  • Massage Referral Form

  • Disabled Parking Permit Form

  • Handi-Transit Form Completion

  • Missed Appointments (MHSC Fee Guide)

  • Transfer of Patient Records (MMA Fee Guide)

  • Medical-Legal Reports and Narrative Letters

Please note that payment (cash only) must be made upon receipt of the service.

Walk-In Clinic

Our clinic is open for walk-in patients who have no prior record in our system. Kindly bring your Manitoba Health Card to your first visit. Those without the health card will not be seen in the walk-in clinic.

Availability

Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. If the patient load exceeds our ability to serve everybody, we may cease booking patients ahead of posted hours.

Note: Concordia Medical Centre reserves the right to triage patients and move them up the list if their condition warrants it.

Prescription Limits

If the patient is not under the care of our clinic, we will not prescribe chronic opioid pain medication, chronic benzodiazepine, or other drugs with potential for abuse.

Missed Appointments

If you wish to cancel your appointment, you must give notice at least 24 hours before your scheduled date. This is important since missed appointments will result in another patient not seeing a physician and receiving the care they deserve.

Fees

Missed appointments will be assessed a fee from $35 to $130, following the MMA fee guide.
